How to get found by local customers
How local customers actually find a venue to book — and the handful of free things that put you in front of them.
When someone needs a haircut, a treatment or a class, they search — usually on their phone, usually for something local, and usually ready to book. Being easy to find at that moment is one of the highest-return things you can do, and most of it is free.
Claim and complete your Google Business Profile
For local searches, your Google Business Profile does a lot of the heavy lifting. Claim it, keep your hours and services accurate, add photos, and — importantly — put your booking link on it so people can act the moment they find you.
Put your booking link everywhere
A booking link is only useful where people look. Add it to your Instagram and TikTok bios, your Google profile, your website, and your replies to enquiries. Every extra place it lives is another path from “interested” to “booked” that doesn't need a phone call.
Ask happy clients for reviews
Reviews are what turn a search result into a chosen venue. A simple, well-timed ask — just after a great appointment — is the most effective way to build them. Make it easy by sending the link directly.
Be discoverable on the QZee network
Beyond your own page, QZee includes a customer booking app where people browse and book local venues. Opting in means you can show up in local category and city searches on QZee — extra bookings on top of the ones coming through your own link, with the same calendar and checkout behind them.
Start here
Complete your Google profile, share your booking link in three new places this week, ask your next few happy clients for a review, and opt in to the QZee network. None of it costs anything — and together it's how new customers find you.
